Unable to uninstall the project server.

Posted by fillzephyr on November 24, 2008

Go To the start>run> (write )regedit.
Go To the
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE>Software>Microsoft>Shared tools>Webserver Extensions>12>Secure>ConfigDB.
In configdb folder you can see three names Default , dsn, Id.
Rename dsn to somethig else i had rename it dsna.
then i tried to uninstall projectserver and it works well it will uninstall project server.
Run sharepoint config wizards.

here while running sharepoint configuration wizard never run using psconfig command its best practice to run using the UI. from Start>programs>microsoft office server> run sharepoint configuration wizard.

THIS  ERROR OCCURED WHEN YOU CLICK TO THE ” Page Layout and Site Template Settings” IN SETTINGS UNDER ” LOOK AND FEEL SECTION/CATEGORY “

RESOLUTION :

Edit using sharepoint designer open the site in SPD and then tried to add the .aspx pages in  “wt” library.

for that you have to open 2 sites one  which is not generating errors say sitecollection_945 in SPD and the other site which is genrating error as in our case is the sitecollection_946.

copy all the .aspx pages from folder _catalogs\wt\forms from the sitecollection_945 to the sitecollection_946 _catalogs\wt\forms then select the option of view in browser you can be able to see the pages now.
